Fall 2020 begins with the end of this year’s 2nd Venture Client Cycle. In September, the third global cycle will kick off with fresh opportunities. For teams based in China, the second-ever China-exclusive cycle will launch in October.
The last days of Summer are here, making this a great moment to take a look at what the Fall has in store. Before going on vacation, we wrapped up the first China Venture Client Cycle in Shanghai. We also held the first remote meetings with teams moving forward in the ongoing global cycle. Coming up this Fall, we are delighted to confirm two new Venture Client Cycles, one global and one locally in China. Here are the key dates to keep in mind this fall.
Next Value Proposition Days: September 29th – 30th
The second Value Proposition Days of 2020 are coming up. Under the enduring conditions, we are building on the success of last Spring’s VPD and going fully online once again. After the shortlisting sessions are complete, participants will join the Foundry teams for remote discussions and workshops on Sept 29th and 30th.
This cycle is not accepting new submissions anymore, but don’t worry! You will have the chance to submit proposals for new Foundry opportunities next month when the third cycle of the year is launched.
New Venture Client Cycle Launch: Mid-September 2020
A fresh batch of Foundry Venture Client Opportunities is gearing to launch as we speak. As always, startup teams from around the world can submit their unique solutions for Foundry companies looking to partner up with the best-in-class growth companies out there. All meetings and workshops will take place remotely – no international traveling, no face-to-face gatherings; all will be online like last Spring.
The participating Foundry companies and their opportunities will be announced in September. If you are wondering what kind of opportunities you can expect, check out our past opportunities here.
Second-Ever China Venture Client Cycle: October 2020
Foundry completed the inaugural China Venture Client Cycle with Stora Enso and Tetra Pak this summer. In the wake of its success, we are planning to launch the second-ever China-exclusive Venture Client Cycle this October. Startups based in China will once again have the chance to work with global companies to co-develop new tech solutions for the local market and open new avenues for their own global growth.
The new opportunities and participating Foundry companies will be announced in October. Check back later for more information.
NOTE: Concerning the COVID-19 Pandemic
At present, the World Health Organization still considers the COVID-19 outbreak a public health emergency of international concern. Combient Foundry will continue operating in a manner to ensure the safety of our teams and all participants in this Fall’s Foundry Cycles. In light of the situation, we have moved all of our operations online since last March and will continue this way for the foreseeable future. If you have any questions, please reach out to our team on firstname.lastname@example.org.
These are the confirmed items on our agenda for the rest of 2020. Who knows what surprises might come our way? Once we know what else the rest of the year has in store for us, we will let you know too. Make sure to follow us on LinkedIn to stay up to date!
