Next week (Sept 23rd-28th) you can catch us in Shanghai, China, with Combient associated companies KONE, Scania, and Stora Enso and also at #SlushShanghai.

KONE, an elevator and escalator industry leader, Stora Enso, a global renewable materials company, and Scania, a sustainable transport solution manufacturer, have team-members from Europe and China moving with us. Our mutual goal is to find partners within the Shanghai startup ecosystem and discuss with them the potential for future collaborations.

We want to get to know the environment of the Shanghai startup and tech space intimately. It’s a relatively quick visit but it won’t be our last. If you would be interested in meeting us and the companies while we are there, and talk about collaboration with us on mutually beneficial projects, give us a shout and we’ll discuss what we can do together!

We are also visiting Slush Shanghai 2019. On Day 1, Sept 25th, we are hosting an on-stage panel about startup-corporate collaborations and experiences of it in European markets. To tell about it, we have Lauri Lehtovuori, Head of Combient Foundry, Samuli Savo, Stora Enso CDO, Laura Ala, Partner and CMO at ZOAN, a Finnish VR-tech startup, and Ilkka Kivimäki, Partner at In fact, ZOAN is one of the first companies to participate in the Foundry Venture Client Cycle last year. If you happen to be at the conference, hit us up for a conversation!
