How do you see the future of the construction industry?

Nowadays, trends are shifting towards higher expectations for an immaculate end-user experience. In the elevator and escalator industry, the end-user experience is a critical success factor. Our customers expect smart and customised services to address their needs more accurately. Buildings are already even being assessed on user-experience standards like WELL, which explores how buildings’ design and operations are optimized to advance end-users’ well-being.

What are the next steps?

The smooth flow of people and goods is mandatory for any well-functioning building. Various building systems once operated in their own separate silos, must now increasingly interact with each other to enable new services for building users. To address the increased demand for improved user experience, we need to take advantage of new emerging technologies. We have opened our Cloud APIs for our selected partners, and we want others to work with us and help our customers succeed!
