KONE elevators and escalators keep people on the move safely, comfortably, and efficiently worldwide. Cities becoming smarter provide more data for further utilization, such as addressing user needs, improving customer experience, and mitigating arising risks. We want to take advantage of the world becoming smarter and more digitalized to identify and address the real needs of our customers. Through a blend of KONE products and services with cutting-edge technologies we want to analyze deeper people flows and continue with testing, adapting, and refining our solutions accordingly, continuously improving people flow in homes, neighborhoods, and cities.
In parallel, the accumulation of data allows us to optimize and refine our processes.

What can we learn from smart buildings? We are looking for new ideas how to extend the current data set and address untapped business opportunities. No matter whether the new type of data will be collected continuously or only temporary from time-to-time, we are looking forward to brand new implications of data sources and analytics in people flows.
