Improving the manufacturing process and component design could have significant financial benefits and reduce negative climate impact. There is potential for better raw material usage and reduced scrap through higher tolerance designs. Our products are already helping our customers improve their climate impact, but we would like to improve our sustainability impact further across our value chain.

We seek partners to co-develop alternative manufacturing solutions using industrial-scale additive manufacturing. The answers should be able to handle combinations of solid particles in a liquid bed in terms of process and component design and material selection. Furthermore, the ability to manufacture different, ideally 3-dimensional form factors with high tolerance is beneficial. A potential partner should be specialized in one or more of these areas.

Munters is a global leader in climate solutions for customers in industries where controlling temperature and humidity is mission-critical. We are in a growing market driven by several megatrends, e.g., electrification, sustainable food production, and digitalization. In the long run, the aim is to replace the traditional manufacturing process and materials with additive manufacturing solutions.

Partnering with us allows you to co-develop the solution with the industry’s leading player, where our chemical expertise complements manufacturing processes and equipment expertise. You will also have access to our R&D, operations, and sales experts to co-develop and validate the solution. A successful pilot may develop into an opportunity to rapidly scale your business, e.g., through consulting services, licensing, or equipment supply.
