Munters is a global leader in energy-efficient air treatment and climate solutions. Munters Clean Technologies is looking to grow in carbon capture to complement our emission abatement offering, which currently includes technologies that aid the removal of Sulphur and Volatile Organic Compounds, among others. We are looking for partners to co-develop or adapt equipment for carbon capture in end-of-pipe applications, direct air capture, and create a joint offering that can be offered to the market.

Opportunity overview

Clean Technologies is a business line within Munters, offering innovative and energy-efficient critical equipment for the separation of liquids from gas flows, enhanced mass transfer, and abatement of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). Many of our customers are in hard-to-abate industries, such as cement, steel, pulp and paper, and chemicals. We also have customers in the power, electronics, and marine industries.

Demand for carbon reduction is rapidly increasing, particularly in the hard-to-abate industries, driven by the overall need for sustainability and regulation. Clean Technologies is perfectly positioned to support our customers in this field. To take the next step, we aim to develop a tailored offering to increase the efficiency of the carbon capture process.

We are looking for partners specialized in carbon capture technology or processes that can be utilized in end-of-pipe applications and direct air capture. The specific technology does not matter as long as the solution is scalable and can be industrialized.
